The Nat West International Island Games open in Gibraltar

Organised by the International Island Games Association, the eighteenth meeting of the Nat West Island Games will open in Gibraltar on 6th July and last for one week.  Also known as ‘the friendly games’, they are held every two years and have teams from twenty four islands, including five Overseas Territories: Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar and St. Helena.  The competition covers eighteen sports including athletics, badminton, cycling, shooting and swimming.

UKOTA would like to wish good luck to all those taking part.
